Celebrity Inspired Fashion: Rachel Bilson

I first remember the lovely Rachel Bilson when she played the character Summer on the TV show The O.C. (Remember that show? How cute were Seth and Summer together?? haha)

And although the character of Summer was often portrayed as a stereotypical shallow, spoiled rich girl, Rachel brought such heart to the character that many viewers (like myself) instantly became big fans of her witty humor and her clothes!

After the show ended in 2007, Rachel took time to explore her love for fashion by teaming up with DKNY to create a clothing line named Edie Rose. This chic collection featured classic black, white and yellow separates specifically designed to work with other pieces young women would already have in their closets. Besides being very trendy, Rachel’s clothing line was made very affordable so that more women could have the opportunity to own them. Since then she has gone on to design shoes and many other fashion and home décor pieces.

Not only am I a big fan of Rachel’s fashion line, but I am an even bigger fan of her personal style! Ms. Bilson’s style is definitely a unique mix of vintage, classic and bohemian pieces, but no matter what she wears she always manages to look amazing! But what I love most about her style is that it is style so practical and easy to imitate. All you need are some basics like a great skinny jean, t-shirt and a blazer and you can have a trendy, polished look like Rachel. Here are some of my favorite looks..
