Current Color Obsession: Oxblood
Although this color’s name sounds less than appealing, this deep red/burgundy color is definitely becoming one of fall’s hottest trends! Oxblood is a rich, sophisticated color not only pairs well with other popular fall fashion colors (such as Earth-tones, leopard prints and jewel tones) but also makes for the perfect shade of nail polish or lipstick this season.
I am currently obsessed with this color because I think it makes anything from nail polish to leather jackets look both amazingly sophisticated and edgy (aka pretty much my fashion weakness..remember my love for mixing leather and chiffon? Haha). Another thing I love about this color is that you can wear as much or as little of it as you want in a single look. Unlike bright neon colors that can be too overpowering in an outfit, Oxblood’s deep burgundy color is still neutral enough for fashionistas to wear a lot of at one time. This means you can go ahead and wear an Oxblood peplum top with an Oxblood ring, belt and flats. It’s totally up to you!
