Hey guys! I know I run a home and shopping blog…but recently I’ve been getting into fashion (or at least trying). As a girl whose personal style is largely inspired by menswear, I have to say I’m stoked about the fact that collars are a huge trend right now. Everyone from Emma Stone to Victoria Beckham are rocking it (and are they ever!), and everyone does it a little differently – here are some of my favorite looks!

The Collar Necklace

Collar necklaces range from black leather, studded grunge-chic to girly peter pan style, but in any sense, I absolutely love them. They can be dressed up or down and just add a little something to make any outfit more hip.

Collar Clips

Sorry, but I couldn’t help but go full-on hipster with this outfit. I’m a huge fan of collar clips – no doubt, if you wear them to a party you’ll be the only person in the room who has them, which is part of why I love them. They’re also just a good way to make a boring white oxford shirt all your

Menswear / Peek-a-boo

This is, needless to say, my favorite of the bunch. I love putting a sweater over a collared shirt for a feminine, but menswear-inspired, look. Typically I’ll wear a fitted flannel shirt under a cardigan with some colored skinnies and oxfords, but to doll it up a bit for Christmas, I wore a white collared shirt under a black crewneck sweater, white skinny jeans, and black wedge pumps. Feminine makeup and hair help to feel cute, rather than manly!

How do you style your collars?
